Exquisite music, Intimate spaces. Presenting the very best – and our absolute favorites – of the String Quartet literature in unique, stunning venues for audiences numbering between 40 and 100 people, the Cypress Quartet speaks in greater detail about the music performed, giving personal and behind-the-scene insights into the artistic process and further breaking down barriers between performers and listeners. Concerts include post-concert wine and chocolate receptions with the Quartet members.

Call & Response

Inaugurated in 2000, the Cypress’s Call & Response program has impacted dozens of schools, reached thousands of students, commissioned 16 amazing new works for String Quartet, and introduced the concept of “Music as an Ongoing Process of Inspiration” to countless new chamber music lovers.

Cypress Concerts at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging
