15th ANNIVERSARY SALON SERIES
The Cypress String Quartet celebrates our 15th Anniversary with a Salon Series that showcases some of our favorite music. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy Cypress performances in intimate venues and to experience chamber music in its purest form.
In Berkeley, CSQ performs in the exquisite Pearson Theater at Meyer Sound (Fridays).
In San Francisco, CSQ performs in the dynamic 12 Gallagher Lane Gallery (Saturdays).

CALL AND RESPONSE
Call & Response 2012 will feature lyrical masterpieces by Haydn and Beethoven: Haydn’s Op.20 No.1 and Beethoven’s Opus 127. Known for his own incredibly lyrical music, Philippe Hersant answers the call of these ground-breaking works with a world premiere commissioned by the Cypress String Quartet. COLLABORATIONS
The Cypress String Quartet is committed to exploring new music and traditional music in innovative ways, collaborating frequently with a growing number of unique artists, composers, and organizations.
While past collaborators include Leon Fleisher, Jon Nakamatsu, Awadagin Pratt, Gary Hoffman, Atar Arad, James Dunham, and Zuill Bailey, both longstanding and new relationships color the 2011-2012 season.
